Richard Bainbridge, Chef Owner of Benedicts. His food is described as contemporary British with classic values. His background is working for the Roux Brothers at the 3 Michelin starred Waterside Inn, Gunter Seeger in Atlanta, Thornton’s in Dublin and being head chefs at the Michelin starred Morston Hall Hotel for 7 years before opening Benedicts. The Restaurant opened in 2015, has won EDP Best Restaurants in the UK 2017, awarded 3 AA Rosettes in January 2018 and announced at No. 20 in Square Meal’s Top 100 UK Restaurants in May 2018. Richard is Known for his regular appearances on BBC 2’s Great British Menu, winning the competition in 2015 and we saw him return as a veteran Judge in 2017.
