Buzz Buttons must be used sparingly, because of their intensity. Shred the edible flowers and use to enhance the flavour of sauces, soups, stir-fries, dressings and syrups. Sprinkle atop sorbet and ice cream or incorporate into a cocktail for an added kick. The tingling sensation produced is evident when used raw and when cooked, the flowers become mild. Buzz Buttons are also known as Sichuan Buttons, Toothache Plant, Tingflowers or the Electric Daisy and is the the flowers of the Acmella Oleracea plant.

Taste: Buzz Button edible flowers have a slightly citrus, grass-like flavour. Eating the bud of the Buzz Button flower has a numbing and strong tingling effect on the mouth. The more of the edible flower consumed, the more intense and longer lasting the sensation will become. A herb that grows in many tempurature zones and is used in traditional medicine and culinary preparations.
