Taste: Chilli leafs don’t acquire much heat and have little flavour; they are best thought of as natural food colouring.

Uses: They are boiled and cooked and used in various recipes, when boiled, the leaves add a subtle flavour to the dish; a mild leafy flavour mixed with a bit of sweet. Cooking the leaves is a must, you should never eat the leaves raw.

Health Benefits: Chilli leaf provides vitamin A, C, B1, B2, iron, calcium and potassium. It also is known to boost the immune system, clean toxins, treats indigestion and lowers cholesterol levels.
