Taste: Slightly bitter taste with a delicate fragrance.

Uses: Mimulus petals can be eaten raw or cooked. Their petals are also a great substitute for lettuce. They also add colour to sweet and savoury dishes, cordials, oils and butters.

Health Benefits: High in vitamins A, C, and K, as well as flavonoids. Additionally, a tea of these flowers is said to help treat diarrhoea and internal bleeding.
