Taste: Nasturtium leaf is a member of the Cabbage family and resembles a miniature lily pad. Initially sweet tasting, the flavour slowly turns mildly spicy.

Uses: Work well in a variety of savoury preparations. Use as an edible garnish in green, grain and pasta salads. Add to sandwiches and quesadillas or puree to make a nasturtium pesto.

Health Benefits: Nasturtium leaves are a great source of Vitamin C. They have also been used as an antiseptic and to soothe respiratory infections.
