Moroccan Mint, Potted

Moroccan Mint, Potted

Taste: *COLLECTION ONLY* | The leaves have an intense spearmint flavour that can be enjoyed fresh or dry.

Uses: Add Moroccan mint to vinegar for an excellent sauce to accompany lamb, or shred the fresh leaves over sautéed spring peas. Moroccan mint when used for tea, is most often steeped fresh with hot water poured over the leaves, which can be torn or broken to release more of the oil on the leaves.

Health Benefits: Moroccan mint, like most Mentha species, has been used to freshen breath by chewing on the fresh leaves. Mint is used to relieve digestive discomfort and when crushed and rubbed on the temples can be used to soothe a headache.
