A two-week floral takeover, topped with flavour and flowers.
Last week, we headed off on a little floral adventure – to visit the beautiful bakery of CAKE by Hannah Jones and see her latest creation in full bloom. The reason? A two-week themed counter bursting with cakes, colour, and plenty of our homegrown Nurtured in Norfolk edible flowers.
The Magic of ‘Cake in Bloom’
Hannah’s bakery display was like walking into a pastel paradise. The counter featured everything from sunshine-yellow cupcakes topped with vibrant nasturtiums and cornflowers, to delicate macarons, floral mini layer cakes, and even a show-stopping pink buttercream cake garnished with rich purple violas.
Each bake was a visual treat, and every petal was grown fresh on our Norfolk farm. The display perfectly showcased how edible flowers can elevate bakes into edible art.
Meet the Baker Behind the Blooms
Hannah Jones is the powerhouse baker behind the business – known for her dreamy designs and delicate touch. She runs her busy bakery day-to-day with her team while also crafting bespoke celebration and wedding cakes that often feature unique designs and luxurious finishes.
Her flair for dreamy detail has even caught the attention of celebs – Molly-Mae Hague is a regular customer and fan of Hannah’s iconic bakes.
Why We Love Seeing Our Flowers in Action
At Nurtured in Norfolk, we grow a wide range of edible flowers and garnishes – but seeing them brought to life like this is always something special. Hannah’s creativity shows just how versatile florals can be, from dainty cupcake toppers to bold, flavour-packed garnishes that add both beauty and a botanical twist.
Because edible flowers aren’t just for decoration — they help bakers tell a story, reflect the seasons, and make those special moments even more memorable. Whether it’s a birthday box of pastel cupcakes or a pink buttercream cake worthy of a Vogue feature, it’s a perfect reminder that beauty and flavour can grow hand in hand.
Don’t Miss the Bloom
If you’re anywhere near the area, we highly recommend stopping by before Cake in Bloom finishes its run. The creativity, colour, and craftsmanship on display is something special – a delicious blend of flavour and florals that you’ll want to photograph before you eat.

Big thanks to Hannah for letting our blooms be part of her edible vision. It’s a joy to see how our flowers inspire bakers to create magic, and we can’t wait to see what she dreams up next!
