Socius Norfolk are awarded 2 AA Rosettes

Socius’ is a relaxed, sociable dining restaurant in Burnham Market and have just been awarded their first 2 Rosettes from the AA Restaurant Guide 2019. They have many other achievements including, features in the Michelin guide 2019 and good food guide 2019 after just 7 months of opening. 

We spoke more to Natalie from Socius about their incredible achievement…

What is the restaurants ethos and goals?

Our ethos is simple – to provide a memorable food and drink experience in a completely relaxed environment. We strive to always exceed expectations and constantly be better than we were the day before. Our main goal is to ensure that every customer who walks through the door goes away feeling happy. we are passionate about using as much locally sourced, seasonal produce as possible in order to support to local, like-minded businesses and do our bit for the environment by reducing our carbon footprint!

What does the 2 AA Rosettes mean to Socius?

We are extremely proud to have been awarded 2 AA Rosettes in a such a short period of time and it means a lot to us that a professional believes that our food and service is of a high quality. However we do not chase awards and accolades. Our biggest achievement and accolade is seeing customers returning to see us time and time again and receiving their feedback. Thats what we thrive off the most!

What are the restaurants strengths?

We always ensure that the food we serve is the best of our ability, constantly striving to be better than we were the day before. We pride ourselves in our service and ensuring that each and every customer that walks through the door is looked after.

What cuisine can we expect at Socius?

Our food is modern, British food (with a few international influences) but served in a tapas style and designed to share. Our men consists of drinking snacks, small plates and large plates and our guests are encouraged to order a selection of dishes which we will deliver gradually. Its a fantastically sociable way of eating which encourages you to try dishes you wouldn’t usually go for!
