Calendula edible flowers are versatile, with vibrant pigments and flavours. Their petals are best suited for sweet desserts and tropical fruit flavours. Similarly, you can use their petals or the whole flower to create unique decorative touches. For example, the petals can be added to ice cubes, for a sprinkle of colour in your cocktails. However, they also work well with savoury creations adding a hint of bitterness to dishes. Try calendula petals in salads, salsas, scrambled eggs, quiche, and frittatas. Alternatively, use edible flowers solely for decoration on cakes, brownies and other bakes. For instance, use multiple flowers to create an edible arrangement on your bakes. Remember to shop our dried edible flowers for a longer shelf life.

Taste: Calendula edible flowers come in hues of yellow and orange and have petals to that similar of a Daisy flower. The petals have a honey and warm spiced aroma with nutmeg undertones. They have a flavour that ranges from spicy to bitter and tangy to peppery.
