Cucamelons can be enjoyed in both raw and cooked culinary preparations. Why not try these tiny cucumbers raw as a snack, or sliced as a garnish on cheeseboards, meat platters and salads. In addition, Cucamelons tend to be best when cooked quickly or lightly. This helps them retain their sour and crisp cucumber taste (e.g. sautéed or blanched). Cucamelons are also popular for use in pickles, salsas and as a unique garnish for cocktails. Mouse Melons pair particularly well with a range of flavours including mint, citrus fruits and chilli. Furthermore, complement the cucumber flavour with fennel, pork or cheese.

Taste: Cucamelons have a very similar flavour to cucumbers and appearance of a tiny watermelon. Some people call them Miniature Cucumbers or Miniature Melons. Their texture is crisp, tangy and succulent, with a tart and citrus undertone. They are growing in popularity with chefs, bakers and mixologists due to their novel size, unique flavour and high productivity.
