Lovage micro cress is best used fresh as an edible garnish. This allows its herbal flavours and bold green colour to shine. In addition, if you choose to add this microgreen to your cooking, be sure to add at the end as this will prevent the edible cress from wilting. Micro Lovage compliments ingredients found in Mediterranean cuisine particularly well, this is because they create texture and visual appeal to dishes. The vegetal aroma compliments ingredients including cucumber, poultry, thyme and oregano. Furthermore, add as a flavourful garnish to soups, stews, salads and casseroles. Alternatively add to dips and spreads or blend into pesto for extra flavour. Lovage acts as a natural salt substitute too. As well as salt, this microgreen can also be used as a substitute for celery in a variety of dishes.

Taste: Micro Lovage leaves are feathery, with a very strong aroma and flavour. Given this only a few leaves are needed to flavour the dish. The taste of Lovage is reminiscent of celery, parsley and anise.
