Pansy edible flowers are used for their appearance and are a great addition to salads or as a garnish to sweet and savoury dishes. Similarly, sprinkle the individual petals over salads or freeze them and make ice cubes. In addition, the edible flowers can create colour and subtle flavouring to cocktails and hot drinks. Pressed pansies won’t soak up any liquid like their fresh counterpart, making them a perfect cocktail garnish. Pansies are best paired with a range of different herbs, including thyme, lavender and basil. Alternatively use pressed Pansy edible flowers for decoration on a variety of sweet bakes. Their unique colours add a beautiful decorative touch to any cake or bake. You could even create whole edible arrangements on your cakes from our range of flowers and leaves, pressed onto buttercream cakes.

Taste: Pansies have a mild, lettuce-like flavour and are edible. With a crisp texture and an added wintergreen scent contrasted with a light mint edge. Likewise, the edible flowers have also hold a vegetable taste with a light mint undertone.
