Thyme micro cress is one of the most widely used micro herbs and can be used in a variety of dishes. Most commonly, this microgreen is used as a savoury garnish. Unlike the mature Thyme herb, this micro herb is best used raw, as a garnish. This is because it cannot withstand high heats. If you choose to add this microgreen to your cooking, be sure to add it at the end as this will prevent the edible cress from wilting. Micro Thyme is excellent paired with poultry, duck, turkey and lamb. As well as tomatoes, cheese and garlic. It also works well when paired with other herbs such as Rosemary, Sage, Oregano, Basil and Marjoram. Micro herbs can be sprinkled as a garnish on soups, sauces and stews too. It may also be used to flavour marinades.

Taste: Thyme micro cress is somewhat drier than other microgreens, with a fibrous yet tender texture. Its flavour is strong and deliciously savoury, herby and spicy-sweet. The micro cress possesses hints of mint and woodsy aromas.
