This little red and green microgreen can be enjoyed in both cooked and raw preparations. Although, it’s important to note that it will not stand up to extreme high heats without wilting. Like lots of other microgreens, micro Kohl Rabi cress is great as a garnish on egg dishes, as well as a garnish for salads and sandwiches. When using Micro Kohl Rabi in salads, the little leaves can be used alone, or mixed with other micro cresses to create a more flavourful mix. Alternatively, this microgreen can be enjoyed as a garnish for canapés. The brassica flavours will compliment meat and cheese platters, avocado, sushi, grilled meats, and creamy pasta mains.

Taste: Kohl Rabi possesses a vibrant colour and a refreshing, sweet flavour. Part of the Brassica family, Micro Kohl Rabi has a deep purple, almost red coloured stem. Atop the stem are smooth and vibrant green edible leaves, which are crisp and juicy. The flavour of the shoots themselves is likened to crisp broccoli stems and mild cabbage, with hints of radish.
