Baby Beetroot Golden can be eaten raw. Specialty Produce mentions that they are extremely popular shaved into salads and soups or pickled for extended use. In addition, they are also widely used in cooking preparations. Baby Beets can be steamed, lightly sautéed with bunched herbs, or roasted for a crisp texture. Golden Beetroots can be used to replace any recipe where Red Beets are used. The roots have also been known to be juiced and mixed with other baby vegetables and fruit juices for a healthy, superfood smoothie. Baby Beetroot Golden, pairs particularly well with citrus flavoured ingredients, and are great in a salad, soup or mixed with other roasted veggies. Use fresh bunched herbs including chives, basil, rosemary, parsley, mint and dill to complement the earthy flavour of the Golden Beet.

Taste: Baby Beetroot Golden are crunchy when raw and tender when cooked. They possess a smooth consistency with a subtle earthy and sweetness flavour. Golden Beetroots are bright yellow and unlike Red beets, their colouring does not bleed when cooked.
