Purple Kale micro cress can be used as a garnish on top of any protein dish. Micro Kale is best used fresh to showcase the greens earthy, nutty and sweet flavour. Micro Russian Kale compliments rich complex flavours such as grilled pork, pancetta, sausage, garlic, chillies, onions, thyme and caraway. If you choose to add this microgreen to your cooking, be sure to add it at the end as this will prevent the edible cress from wilting. In addition to using Micro Purple Kale whole, the micro herbs can also be pureed into sauces, dips and pesto. Alternatively it can be blended into smoothies and juices due to its high nutritional content. Micro Russian Kale sweet and earthy flavours compliments other ingredients such as carrots, cucumbers and cheeses. As well as meats including pork, beef and poultry.
