Cucumber edible flowers are often used for their vibrant colour and subtle flavour. These edible flowers are used in raw preparations. Due to the flowers being light and delicate, they take on the flavour of the cooked dish. Therefore, to preserve their flavour, they are best eaten raw. The petals can be used individually, adding them to salads, vegetables and a variety of side dishes. For an added fresh flavour, try pickling the flowers in brine and serve in addition to seafood and meat dishes. These brightly coloured blooms pair well with a variety of produce, including garlic, mint, lemon and basil. Alternatively, use cucumber flowers on sweet treats. Such as cakes, cupcakes, brownies and more. When added to bakes this edible flower pairs well with other edible flowers including Calendulas and Marigold flowers to make full edible arrangements.

Taste: Cucumber edible flowers offer a crisp, crunchy and cool texture with an underlying taste of cucumber. Likewise, they are an extremely mild and subtle edible flower that will take on the flavour of what they are being cooked with.
