The subtle citrusy flavours of Lemon Bergamot micro cress make it a great garnish for sweet and savoury dishes. Lemon Bergamot can be used alongside other lemon flavoured herbs. For example, it works as a great garnish for lemon tarts flavoured with lemon balm herb. As well as tarts, this Microgreen can also be used to garnish panna cottas, lemon possets, sorbets and ice creams. Moreover, this little Micro Herb can be used to garnish savoury dishes. For example, a few sprigs can be placed atop fish dishes and salads. Or, they can be used as a flavouring for dressings and teas.

Taste: Also known by the Latin name Monarda Citriodora, Lemon Bergamot is part of the Mint family. Although part of the Mint family, and also called Lemon Mint, this little micro herb does not necessarily reflect the flavours of the Mint herb. The flavour of this little stem is in fact a wonderful balance of lemon and pepper. The coarse leaves and stem are succulent, adding a lovely texture to a variety of dishes.
