Sheep Sorrel micro cress has a variety of uses as it pairs well with both sweet and savoury dishes. When using on savoury dishes, Micro Sheep Sorrel is best added at the end of cooking, as a raw garnish. This is because micro herbs can’t seem to withstand wilting in high heats. In addition, best served raw, it can be tossed together with other microgreens to make an attractive and flavourful micro side salad. Furthermore, toss these tiny herbs through a leafy salad for added flavour and nutritional value. The tart sour flavour of this cress best compliments ingredients such as hard cheeses, cream, eggs and fish. Alternatively, the quirky leaves can be used to decorate sweet cakes, sorbets and ice creams. The possibilities are endless with this microgreen.

Taste: Sheep Sorrel micro cress has a pungent lemon bite with more sharp and sour undertones. Sheep Sorrel micro cress leaves are all different in their own unique way. True to its name, some are 'cloud-like' and some are shaped just like a sheep. The other leaves are slim and arrow-like.
