Nasturtium flowers are part of the Tropaeolaceae family and have a range of culinary uses. Due to their strong spicy flavour, they are often used on savoury dishes. These colourful edible flowers can be used whole as a garnish for meat dishes, salads and vegetable sides. Alternatively, their petals can be picked off to make for beautiful decorations on cakes and other sweet culinary creations. The flowers are red, orange or yellow in colour and have a shelf life of 5 days. If you’re looking to use our vibrant Nasturtium flowers on sweet cakes, we recommend trying our full range of fresh flowers today.

Taste: These edible flowers are a soft and delicate flower. However, they have a powerful flavour, similar to the spice of rocket and watercress. In addition, they are aromatic with a scent very similar to mustard. The peppery taste of the flower isn't as strong as the Nasturtium leaf itself.
