Primula pressed edible flowers can be used in a range of culinary preparations. They have muted flavours, which can be used on sweet and savoury dishes as well as in drinks. Pressed edible flowers are often used on buttercream cakes. Pressed Primulas can be softly pushed into buttercream celebration cakes to make a floral landscape. They can be used on their own, as well as with other pressed and dried edible flowers. As well as on larger celebration cakes, Primula edible flowers can also be pushed into chocolate brownies, floated on cocktails or placed delicately on top of show stopping tarts and desserts. Additionally, pressed flowers have a longer shelf life making them perfect for planning your bakes.

Taste: The aroma and flavour of a Primula flower is very sweet. Although, it is important to note that the flavour diminishes when the flower is pressed.
