Also known as Snow pea shoots, our Golden pea shoots make a colourful addition to salads, stir-fried dishes, soups and stews. The subtle, sweet pea flavour pairs well with the flavours of ginger and garlic. Available all year round, making them a perfect edible garnish and known to be an ideal bed for most Asian dishes. Micro pea shoots are best known to be used as a raw edible garnish over main dishes, canapés and other bright baby vegetables.

Taste: Golden pea shoots have a vibrant yellow leaf and pure white stems that offer a tender and delicate texture. These particular shoots are able to achieve such a bright colour from being grown in the dark. The pea shoot produces a very fresh green pea flavour. Specialty Produce says that some describe the taste as being reminiscent to fresh fava beans.
